We met every Wednesday evening from 7 pm to 11 pm in various venues in the Manchester Gay Village.
As part of our service we always had a changing room available and a safe place to store bags etc during the evening.
During the earlier years, an annual membership fee and modest weekly entry fee were charged. During the final years of operation, as attendances fell, it was decided to remove the membership and entry fees. During the years when the club had many hundreds of members, it was possible to make significant financial donations to charitable initiatives such as Sparkle.
On many Wednesday evenings we ran special events such as talks by notable characters, make-up demonstrations, quizzes & open mics.
